About Wendy

Wendy Boszak is a retired educator.  She has served as a school principal, assistant principal, and special educator.  Since moving to Nevada in 2000, she has served students in both Washoe and Pershing counties.

Not only does she have experience as an educator, but for about fourteen years she owned and operated a small real estate corporation in Vermont.  Thus, Wendy understands issues from the business perspective as well.

A Rutgers University graduate with an M.Ed. in School Administration, Wendy also completed an advanced graduate studies degree in School Leadership.

Currently, Wendy is an active senior advocate.  She is president of Women of Washoe - WOW, an affiliate of the Alliance and the Nevada Alliance for Retired Americans, and is an appointed member to the City of Reno Senior Citizen Advisory Committee.  Wendy is also secretary on the Northern Nevada Literacy Council (NNLC) Board and is on the Board for the Nevada Alliance for Retired Americans.  The SPCA of Northern Nevada awarded Wendy the Top Dog award.

The Nevada Legislature is familiar to Wendy and she has served as a citizen lobbyist for education, seniors, labor, and women's equity.
